Membership

Admission as a Member

Any person or organization genuinely interested in the purpose of the Association may become a member by applying to the Secretary in such form as may be designated by the Board of Directors. The Secretary shall present such application to the Board of Directors for a vote thereon. A majority vote of the Board of Directors in favour of the applicant shall be required to admit an applicant as a member of the Association.

Types of Memberships

There shall be the following classes of membership in the Association:
  1. INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS
  2. Individual membership in the Association may be extended to business and professional men and women who:
    • Are eighteen (18) years of age or older;
    • Are of good moral character;
    • Are interested in and supportive of the objects of the Association; and
    • Have paid such fee as prescribed by the Board of Directors from time to time.
  3. ASSOCIATE MEMBERS
  4. Associate membership in the Association may be extended to men and women who:
    • Are eighteen (18) years of age or older;
    • Are of good moral character;
    • Are interested in and supportive of the objects of the Association; and
    • Have paid such fee as prescribed by the Board of Directors from time to time.
  5. STUDENT MEMBERS
  6. Student membership in the Association may be extended to men and women who:
    • Are between the ages of eighteen (18) years and not older than twenty-five (25) years, inclusive;
    • Are full time students
    • Are of good moral character;
    • Are interested in and supportive of the objects of the Association; and
    • Have paid such fee as prescribed by the Board of Directors from time to time.
  7. CORPORATE MEMBERS
  8. Corporate membership in the Association may be extended to corporations who:
    • Are interested in and supportive of the objects of the Association; and
    • Have paid such fee as prescribed by the Board of Directors from time to time.
  9. HONOURARY MEMBERS
  10. Honorary membership in the Association may be extended to any individual as special recognition of outstanding services rendered to the Association or in recognition of special circumstances associated with such an individual and the Association. The extension of such membership shall be granted only upon majority vote of the members present at a meeting convened for that purpose. An honorary member shall not be required to pay a fee.


Applying for Membership

So, if you believe you have what it takes to become a member, you can apply for membership following the steps given below:

  1. Fill out the membership application form (can be found here)
    • Either send it to us via email,
    • Or print it out and send it to us via snail mail ( postal address can be found here)
  2. Pay membership fee
    • Either email money transfer
    • Or mail a cheque (payable to: "TEPAC", Memo: "Membership")
    • Or pay it in person, at one of our events
  3. Make sure you get the receipt / voucher from TEPAC


Annual Membership Fee Schedule

  • Full membership - $100
  • Retiree membership - $50
  • Student membership - $25
